Paul Cannon
Paul Cannon is a cinematographer and filmmaker known for his work in documentary and independent cinema, particularly his additional photography for Netflix’s acclaimed miniseries Wild Wild Country (2018). Cannon’s projects have premiered at Sundance, SXSW, Slamdance, the Los Angeles Film Festival, and Lincoln Center. He has contributed to numerous productions including documentaries Mississippi Requiem (2018) and Too Stupid to Die (2018), as well as narrative films such as The Long Shadow (2019), Sensitivity Training (2016), and Killing Animals (2015). Cannon has directed several short films, including Natural Causes (2008), Mistakes Were Made (2013), and The F-Word (2022). He has received multiple award nominations, including from the American Society of Cinematographers.
KINGSTON TRINDER
Kingston Trinder is a nonfiction author and journalist. Trinder’s books include a novel, Milk Tooth (2012), two true-crime biographies (2026). And several fine art monographs and visual ethnographies: Old Glory (2016), Chromatic Reflection (2016), An Atlas of Rare & Familiar Colour (2017), Who is Michael Jang? (2019), John Cage: A Mycological Foray (2020), Talk Soon (2021), Thor Heyerdahl: Voyages of the Sun (2022), The Edible Allen Ginsberg (2026), and Journey of the Red Knots (2026), his first children's book. Trinder’s journalism has appeared in AnOther, COLORS, Dazed & Confused, Men’s Health, mono.kultur, The Gourmand, and many more. Co-director of short film, The Routine (2024), he has received several literary awards and is a member of the National Press Club.
